My ability to bring an idea and to apply marketing concepts to real life is demonstrated by my experience as a digital designer at Tutoraly, a startup company based in Sydney.
I worked closely with the founders in developing the content of the landing page used for their B2B marketing. We figured out their target audience and listed down the page objectives. I prototyped and designed two Lead-Generating Landing pages ( different structural layouts having the same content) using Instapages. I created all the digital assets such as the logo, icons and call-to-action buttons. I monitored which of the two has the best and desirable responses. The insights we have gathered from colours to imagery helped the team to customise an approach to its other marketing platform and generate ideas for future planning.
Tutoraly represents a group of people, a community unified by their shared interest in learning. Its ability to innovate the nature of the relationship between tutors and learners gives Tutoraly a significant difference from its competitors. Ergo, the team wanted to convey this not only through the logo but the entirety of its visual language.
Beginning with words that best describe Tutoraly helped me to create a thought guide, hoping that it will lead to a style guide later on. I tried to visualise the three buzzwords. For the relationship, I simply drew a tutor and a tutee suggesting their mutuality and emotional connection. The way I ran for the idea of community was by showing the different mode of interaction offered by Tutoraly.
Here, I drew a series of people connecting online, in person and in groups. I tried to pull out the abstraction of their forms and translated it into the word ‘seamless’. Moreover, if you would look and examine the negative space between the objects closely forms an eight and an infinity symbol, representing the endless possibilities of that Tutoraly has to offer when it comes to learning
The use of colour orange to symbolise hunger and in turn, hunger to learn, it is also associated with warmth, joy and creativity
